My toes are cold...

Ooops.

I'm not doing terribly well with my blogging. Must try harder.

It's ear-bitingly cold in London this week and everyone is swaddled up against the wind. We've had a couple of glorious days of sunshine with beautiful blue skies and a chill that nips at anything not wearing three layers of clothes. Unfortunately, our office boiler broke a couple of weeks ago and due to a combination of a £4000 bill to fix it and ongoing rent negotiations with the landlord my boss has decided not to fix it yet. So I have been working the chunky knits trend indoors and out (and accessorising with indoor scarves and desk gloves). Luckily, by about 3.30pm our artists' garret warms up enough with our electric heaters that I can strip down to just two layers and we stop having to warn our clients to keep their coats on.

  1. You are doing a great deal better than I am (as your dear mother has pointed out to me a couple of times recently!)

  2. Ooh, hurray. Of course, you should come back to tropical Edinburgh. At least we have central heating.

  3. When I said, "Ooh, hurray" I didn't mean hurray that you were cold. I meant hurray that you'd done another post.

  4. Lynda - that's what you get for making friends with a teacher: they expect you to do your homework! (Although actually I am sure that it's just that she likes reading your posts).
